NEW LAND INFORMATION
AREA About 1 acre about 25% larger than Baird Park
Some Pros Remote rural location - Few security issues no expensive fencing-Fewer distractions, peaceful, good views Land is registered as agricultural- horticultural is treated the same way - Few planning issues - more freedom to do as we wish eg Bee keeping large fruit trees Communal Composting Owner intends to stay put for the foreseeable future - long lease can be negotiated if we wish Owner wants to have a communal shed and will assist with ground preparation Owner will produce hardstanding for cars Electricity and water can be made available - we could have freezer(s) to store XS produce. No rabbit problem - allegedly! Local deer live in a nearby wood and don't wonder onto the land. Ground looks reasonable - similar workability to Baird Park.
Cons Remote rural location - More windy than Baird Park - may need to plant wind breaks 8 mile journey about 10-15 mins. May need to change our Constitution to include Drumlithie or other local folk. Ground is on a slight slope.
