Helped Steward the weekly car boot sale and sold excess produce from the
allotments. This was in great demand and raised £260 for our funds.

A second car boot sale was washed out. Try again!
3rd September Baird Park Site Official Opening
Invited guests, plot holders, children from local shools and local
people attended the ceremony; Neil was MC and thanks to a very effective
megaphone gave us all a thorough run down on how the Allotments came to
be.
A strawberry tea was very kindly provided by our members Bill and Isobel and the school children cut the opening ribbon.
The event was covered by The "Leader" and a photograph of the children cutting the ribbon appeared in the paper.
Excellent weather, enthusiastic children, wholesome refreshments and lots to see and discuss made for a great day.
